Sylvania Revolutionary ICETRON™ electrode less lamp systems - The new Sylvania ICETRON Inductively Coupled Electrode less lighting system has a 100,000-hour average rated life. In a typical industrial or municipal application, that means that you might have to wait 25 years before the lamp needs to be changed! In recent technological breakthrough, Osram Sylvania engineers developed a way to produce light without using electrodes, which means that there is essentially nothing in the lamp that can wear out.

Utility & Tax Incentives

Federal and State Governments are offering a wide array of rebates and tax incentives in order to encourage businesses to invest in energy saving projects. Thanks to these incentives and rebates, projects that already have a strong ROI, become even more attractive. Understanding what money is available to help offset the costs of your project and navigating the process to get your project approved, can be confusing and frustrating.

The Horizon Energy Services team is very well connected with all the local Utility companies in the areas we serve, and has a thorough understand of what is available to you in rebates and incentive to help shorten the payback period on your energy project.  We also have an intimate understanding of the filling process, and we can handle this for you or help you navigate the red tape.

Contact your Horizon Energy Services representative today to find out about programs available in your area.  Or, check out our list of useful link to local and federal programs in the Resources section of this site.

Some of our Utility Program Affiliations:

Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire & New York:

Horizon Lighting & Energy Solutions has been an approved provider for National Grid's  "Project Expediter Program" for over 10 years.  Working with members of this select group of energy service providers ensures that you will be working with a company that has your long term satisfaction in mind.

New York State:

We work very closely with NYSERDA and Rochester Power and Gas in New York State, and soon National Grid will begin to offer programs here as well.

We work with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s (NYSERDA’s), New York Energy $martsm Commercial Lighting Program (CLP) and are part of their “Business Partners” program.

Maine:

We work closely with Efficiency Maine, and we are a Program Ally in their “Business Program” which provides cash incentives and free, independent technical advice to help businesses save energy and money and improve the environment.

When looking at energy projects, often the availability of utility and government rebates and incentives can make the difference between getting a project off the ground or not. We leverage our relationships with the Utility companies to make sure if there are rebate dollars available; your project gets the proper considerations and visibility.
